Who we are

Excellent Community School ,Giwa, founded in 2009 by Malam Suleiman Madawaki, has become a beacon of education in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Located at No 7, Anguwan Lalli Road, Giwa, Giwa local government of Kaduna State. it was generously donated to the community by its founder. Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria, the school has seen remarkable growth since its inception. Its inaugural graduating class of 2016, comprising 17 boys and 5 girls, marked the beginning of a legacy.

Over the years, the school has consistently produced outstanding results in NECO and WAEC examinations, boasting alumni spread across the globe. As a testament to its commitment to excellence, the school's facilities include 30 classrooms furnished with adequate equipment, a solar-powered borehole, and an ongoing project of a solar-powered computer laboratory. Additionally, it boasts of science laboratories and a school bus for students' convenience.

With over 48 teachers, each holding NCE as the minimum qualification, the school ensures quality education for its students. Furthermore, its annex school in Turawa, with seven teachers, caters for lower and upper basic education in that Village. The Islamic school section, with 14 teachers, instills values and knowledge in Tauhid, Akhlaq, Qur'an and Tajweed, Lugatul Arabiyya, Nahwu, Hadith and Fiqh. Starting with humble beginnings, the islamiyya section now flourishes with over 700 students, under the guidance of dedicated educators aming which were former students of Mal. Suleiman

Malam Suleiman's vision and dedication were instrumental in shaping science and art education with islamic values in Giwa. As the first principal of the islamiyya section, he led with integrity for seventeen years before passing the mantle to Mal. Aliyu Yahuza of Hayin Mahuta. Today, under his stewardship, the school continues to thrive, nurturing the minds of future leaders.
